Footfairy main site has moved to the Genesis Framework.
One of the sub sites is still on Thesis 2 (my local reflexology site) but I just couldn’t seem to make enough progress with the main site refurbishment.
I bought Thesis 1.xx because it would give me a degree of control without having a solid programming background. Once Thesis 2.xx arrived I’ve had nothing but hassles.
Partly that’s due to the problems of trying to retrofit an old html site + Wordpress blog into a single site with a new theme. If I was just starting a fresh site then I doubt this would have been such a pain.
So regretfully for the moment I’ve bitten the bullet and shifted onto Genesis.
So far it’s been pretty painless – installation was simple (so was Thesis), but where I really like Genesis so far is that there are plenty of child themes to pick from and Genesis seems to be more customer focussed. I get the impression that the support is more a priority – but I’ve not had to test it out yet so that comment is based purely on the look and feel of the Studiopress site.
Trying out the Beautiful theme at the moment.
