Still Moving forward at a snail's pace with site and blog redevelopment. I run Thesis theme here on my blog and also on my local business site. Exploring Thesis 2
The initial irritation I felt when I realised my site design wouldn't convert automatically when I upgraded from Thesis 1.84b to Thesis 2 wore off pretty quickly. It was easy to re-activate my old Thesis theme. Just a click of a button and things were back to normal. I've got my test site up and running with Thesis 2. So I'm raring to go. I've had a quick look for documentation but there doesn't seem to be much out there. But I'm willing to give the new Thesis framework the benefit of the doubt until I've seen what it can offer. Thesis 2 – my first impressions
I'm not a web site designer or a coder. So the most important thing to me is that maintaining my site is as simple as possible. I want upgrades to be seamless - to cause as little disruption as possible. You can see where I'm going with this - can't you. Thesis 2 may be the way forward and offer some great tools. All very good if you are starting out afresh with Thesis - but for those of us on older versions - there's going to be a fair bit of work to convert. Thesis 2 looks to be almost a total re-design.
